Multifunctional general-purpose water treatment process simulator including biochemical treatment for both steady-state and unsteady-state operations.
The SUMO water treatment process simulator developed by the French company Dynamita can rigorously model a variety of water treatment processes, including biological treatment such as activated sludge and anaerobic digestion, chemical phosphorus removal, and coagulation and sedimentation processes, both in steady-state and unsteady-state conditions.
Thanks to its open architecture, it is easy to customize models and add user-defined models, and it also allows for bidirectional linking with other programs.
It is widely used for municipal wastewater and drinking water treatment as well as for wastewater treatment in chemical plants.
